Your Training Is Good. Your Reel Is Solid. You're Submitting Constantly.
So Why the Hell Aren't You Working?
Get Paid to Get the Training You Need & Build Real Connections in Just 5 Days
DATES: May 4-8 | 7:00 PM CET Daily (6 PM London | 2 PM NYC | 11 AM LA)
Being a good actor isn't enough. We all know it.
You've spent years caring about your craft and career. You've invested in headshots, classes, coaching, and reels. You're on all the platforms. You're doing "all the things."
And still… crickets.
Meanwhile, actors with half your talent are booking consistently. What do they have that you don't?
They figured out what's REALLY missing (not what you THINK is missing) and how to get it.
Skills they need. Proof they can do the work. Connections to people who hire. Knowledge of how the business actually works.
Usually it's more than one.
An Acting Career Is a Ravenous Beast
New skills. New footage. New connections. New knowledge of how this business actually works.
It all costs money. Classes, coaching, headshots, reels, training. You pay for everything out of pocket while also paying rent. And everyone just assumes that's how it works.
After working with hundreds of actors, I can tell you: what you think is the problem almost never is.
And the cost? It doesn't have to be that way.
“Just Keep Training. Keep Auditioning. Keep Submitting. And Eventually It'll Happen.”
You learned how to act. You're good at it. But somewhere along the way we all got the same message: if you keep working on your craft, one magical day, someone will notice you and everything will click into place.
Except... it doesn't. Not like that. Not for most of us. Because the training prepared us to act. It didn't prepare us to get the work. And those are two completely different skill sets.
The good news? You can build exactly what YOU need AND have the journey pay for itself while you do it. That's exactly what The Curator Method does.
You're not guessing what other actors need. If you need it, someone else needs it, too. That's what makes the events you create actually good. You build exactly what you need, other actors show up because they need it too, and everyone wins.
Casting director showcases put you in a room where you're performing. Curation puts you in a room where you're a peer. That's a completely different dynamic. You're not asking for something. You're building something. And the people who can hire you notice.
Not your mindset. Not your "energy." Everything. Your connections. Your confidence. Your trajectory. Your income. We're talking about real actors who went from stuck to booked, from outsider to peer, from "I don't know what I'm doing" to "a production company wants to make my project.”
I Rebuilt My Acting Career at 47 After a 16-Year Gap. Here's How I Did It.
In my mid-twenties, I was working as an actor in Chicago. I had my SAG health insurance. I didn't have to work a side gig. I thought I'd made it. Things could only get better from here.
Then life happened. I fell in love with a German guy, moved to Munich, and started a family. Everything I'd built (my community, my momentum, my career) gone.
Fast forward to 47. I really want to get back into acting but I'm rusty. I have no current footage. No contacts. And I'm an American living in Germany. My old path was gone. But I knew ONE thing: if I was serious about relaunching my acting career, training would be the first thing I needed. Nothing else would get my skills and confidence back to where they needed to be to do everything else that comes with actually working.
But Munich isn't exactly a mecca for actors, especially non-German actors. So I brought the training to me. I found the coaches I wanted to learn from and organized workshops around what I actually needed. Other actors needed the same thing, so they came too.
We all learned. I got paid.
Within three months, I was bringing in two coaches a month. That brought in around €4,500 a month, and still fit into my life as a mom, wife, and VO actor. By the end of that first year, I'd rebuilt my confidence, gotten over €12,000 worth of world-class training for free, and earned almost €50,000 doing it.
That became what I now call The Curator Method.
Once I realized it worked for training, I realized I could use it for ANYTHING I needed. I used it to get showreel material. I used it to build better relationships with casting directors. Over the next 14 years, that approach led to working with studios like Netflix, Hallmark, and A24. I built relationships with a fantastic commercial agent. Casting directors started reaching out directly. More importantly, I built a career that supports my life instead of competing with it.
I've been using this method for over 14 years to build my own career. But, teaching it to other actors? That's new. And watching what happens when actors get their hands on this? That's what keeps me going.
And now other actors are using it, too.
Meg Messmer
Meg knew she wanted to learn something; she just hadn't figured out what yet. She'd been pitching a show in Europe for five years and couldn't get a meeting. That's despite her Emmy nomination. Yep. You read that right.
Then she discovered vertical series and everything locked into place.
She used The Curator Method to build a masterclass around the exact thing she needed to learn: how to write for vertical. She brought in the experts. She invited other creators who needed the same knowledge.
The result? She earned $4,125 in 8 hours. She gained the writing tools she needed to rewrite her series with real confidence. And she connected with major players in the vertical space as a peer, not someone asking for a favor.
Then a production company saw what she was doing, met with her, and said: "We love it [her show] already. No matter what you do, we want to make this."
In her words: "It just gives you a whole different power dynamic."
Arriella Guidubaldi
Arriella didn't just run a workshop. She planted herself at the center of something much bigger.
She brought in a director from Steppenwolf for an intimate acting workshop in her local market. An small group of deeply invested actors signed up. Participants were already filming testimonials and collaborating on content before the event even happened.
But here's where it gets interesting. Through the process of curating this one event, Arriella started showing up in her local arts community in a completely different way. She joined committees at local organizations. She became the person connecting actors, venues, and opportunities in her town.
And then the venue she was using for her workshop came to her and said: "We want to use your workshops to help us open a repertory theater."
One workshop. And now she's pioneering and uniting the performing arts community in her town, with a venue building around her work.
Ingrid Margus
Brought three casting directors to Estonia for a one-day event. Twenty-seven actors from four countries paid to attend.
She earned €3,500 in one day and went from outsider to peer with those casting directors.
Anna Soibert
Brought in a stunt coordinator who actually hires actors for a weapons workshop. Nine actors paid to attend.
She got the training for free, built a relationship with someone who can hire her, and earned income.
After four events, she's now the go-to person for actors who want stunt training in Germany.
Kelly Moss
Brought in accomplished comedians for an intimate workshop. It worked. She kept going.
Now she hosts regular sessions AND built a creativity camp for kids. Two different income streams, both built around what she actually cares about.
This Got Me Thinking...
What could I give you that goes way deeper than free YouTube advice... yet charge way, way less than my full Curator Academy program?
How could I teach you how to build your first curated event in the shortest amount of time?
That's what inspired me to create The Side Door Challenge.
Here's why I'm doing this:
My actual mission for 2026? Fully empower 100 actors to build their own access.
Let's be done with the power imbalance that makes you feel like casting directors, agents, and producers are somewhere above you while you're down here hoping they notice.
It's time to stop feeling like a passenger in your own career and grab the damn wheel.
Build your first curated event...
Get the training you actually need...
And have the journey pay for itself...
In just 5 days.
Here's how it works:
The Curator Method works because you're solving your own problem first. You're not guessing what people want. You ARE the people who want it.
You figure out what you need. You bring in an expert who has it. You invite other actors who need the same thing.
Everyone benefits. You get the training for free. And you get paid while you're at it.
So here's what I'm offering:
My step-by-step process and framework that I personally use for every curated event I organize. Plus access to other actors who are building the same thing through our private Facebook Group.
And bonuses I haven't even told you about yet for $27
My mission for 2026 is to fully empower 100 actors to build their own access. That's why this is $27 for early birds. You deserve to build exactly what YOU need and have the journey pay for itself while you do it.
So if you're ready to stop guessing and start building...
The 5 Days That Turn "I Don't Know How to Connect the Dots" Into "I'm Ready to Start"
Every session runs live once a day at 7:00 PM CET.
Here's when that is for you:
- London: 6:00 PM
- New York (ET): 1:00 PM
- Los Angeles (PT): 10:00 AM
Show up for yourself once a day. 90 minutes max, including any homework.
You won't just leave with ideas. You'll leave understanding exactly what's been keeping you stuck and what to do about it, not just once, but again and again.
And yes, you get paid to do it.
DAY 1 - FIGURE OUT WHAT'S ACTUALLY KEEPING YOU STUCK
After working with hundreds of actors, I can tell you: they're usually wrong about what is actually blocking them. We'll map what career you actually want and what's REALLY blocking you right now. By the end of Day 1, you'll know exactly what's been stopping you and what to do about it.
DAY 2 - SEE WHAT MAKES YOU HIRABLE FOR THE WORK YOU WANT
You reverse engineer the exact career you want by answering 5 questions. Then we use your answers to come up with completely unique solutions to your particular problems that will get you paid to solve. (yep, paid). You'll watch me do this live with a volunteer (maybe you) so you see exactly how it works. This makes your branding bulletproof while giving you more ways to make connections and income through your craft.
DAY 3 - MAP YOUR CAREER AND WATCH IT COMPOUND
One workshop won't change your career. But what if you did 12? Or 24? What would that look like for YOUR specific path? What I really do on Day 3 is help the people in the hot seat figure out all the missing pieces in their careers. Not just that first one, but the ones that will come up after they figure that out, and the one after that, too. New level, new devil. Day 3 helps you spot them ahead of time and be ready with a plan. You'll benefit immensely from watching the live coaching and seeing it get done in real time.
DAY 4 - DESIGN EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED TO SOLVE YOUR FIRST ROADBLOCK
This is where most actors get stuck. They have the idea but don't know what will actually move them forward. You design exactly what YOU need to solve your first roadblock using a simple 4-question framework. It makes sure whatever you create actually gives you what you need - skills, proof, connections, or knowledge - instead of just being "a cool idea." You help yourself and other actors who need the same thing. Everyone benefits. You get it free. You get paid.
DAY 5 - MAP YOUR NEXT 90 DAYS
You walk away with your 90-day plan. Not vague inspiration - your actual next steps mapped out. This is the same exercise Ingrid did during a different iteration of this very challenge. We literally rewire your brain (don't worry, it doesn't hurt) to make sure you accomplish what you set out to do.
Here's Everything You Get When You Join The Side Door Challenge Today:
Daily Action Worksheets
Step-by-step exercises that help you plan and get clarity lickety-split.

Let's talk about what $27 actually gets you.
Ingrid ran one event and built peer relationships with three casting directors who can hire her. Not showcase relationships where you're performing for them. Peer relationships. And she earned €3,500 doing it, for training she used to pay for out of pocket.
Meg built one masterclass and a production company said "we want to make this." She covered her costs, got the writing tools she needed, and connected with major players in her space as a collaborator, not someone with a pitch deck.
Arriella ran one workshop and a venue asked her to help them open a repertory theater. She's now the person connecting actors, opportunities, and organizations in her town.
Anna earned income and got free training from a stunt coordinator who actually hires actors. After four events she became the go-to for stunt training in Germany.
Kelly built two income streams around what she actually cares about, and she's not paying a dime for the training anymore.
Relationships with people who can hire you. Training you used to pay for, now free. Income from doing what you love. And career opportunities you couldn't have planned if you tried.
That's what happens when you stop waiting for access and start building it.
And the challenge that teaches you how to do all of this? It's $27.
From "What Do I Even Want to Build?" to a Production Company Saying "Let's Go"
"I feel like I'm meeting a moment." — Meg Messmer
Meg came into The Curator Academy knowing she wanted to build something but not sure what. She'd been writing a show, pitching in Europe, trying to figure out showrunning on this side of the Atlantic (inspite of her Emmy nom). Nothing was working.
Then vertical series blew up and everything clicked. She used The Curator Method to build a masterclass around the exact gap she needed to fill: how to write for vertical.
The masterclass covered her costs. It gave her the tools to rewrite her series with real confidence. And it connected her to people in the vertical space who weren't just contacts... they were collaborators.
A production company saw what she was doing, met with her, and said: "We love it already. No matter what you do, we want to make this."
And then she said the thing that captures the whole method:
"It just gives you a whole different power dynamic."
Building Relationships Worth Way More Than €3,500
"Just wanted to thank you one more time for the final push to create my really own curator program in Estonia. The first event took place in 28.10 with 3 casting directors and 27 actors from Estonia, Finland, Ukraine and Canada. And one day before the event I received the letter we wrote during your workshop 90 days ago, read it after the workshop and I'm so so grateful that you gave me courage to make it all happen."
— Ingrid Margus
Ingrid earned €3,500 in ONE day.
But the real value? She built peer relationships with three casting directors who can hire her. She gained the credibility to create events like this whenever she wants.
And she got training she used to pay for, now for free.
One Workshop. A Steppenwolf Director. And a Venue That Wants to Build a Theater Around Her Work.
Arriella set out to curate one workshop in her local market. She brought in a director from Steppenwolf (yes, THAT Steppenwolf) for an intimate session with a small group of deeply invested actors.
But what happened next was bigger than any single event.
Through the process of putting this together, Arriella started showing up differently in her community. She joined committees at local arts organizations. She became the person connecting actors, venues, and opportunities.
And then the venue hosting her workshop said something she didn't expect: "We want to use your workshops to help us open a repertory theater at this space."
One curated event. And now she's planting the seeds of an entire performing arts community.
"My main goal for this was to just have the seeds of the community being built, because this is me, like, becoming a part of the community here. And it's really, a lot is happening. I'm really kind of pioneering, uniting and bolstering the performing arts community in this town."
Here's What Other Actors Say About Working with Anne:
Let's Address the Thing You're Probably Thinking
"What if nobody shows up?" Would YOU pay to attend this workshop? Then other actors will too.
"But I've never organized anything before." Neither had Ingrid. Or Anna. Or Kelly. You don't need experience. You just need to know what you want and be willing to figure it out. We'll show you how.
"What if people think it's weird?" They will. Good. Less competition for you.
